If this rate of growth keeps up the entire planet will be powered by wind by about 2018.
Combined with Nuclear plants, Coal plants, Gas plants, Solar thermal, insulation etc, Is it not just possible that we might be in relatively good shape before the depletion hits the fan hard in 2015?

We may, in fact, be out of the woods by halfway through the 2020s...

Unless of course, the doomers have convinced the powers that be that no solution is possible and we ought to fight over the last dregs in Iran...

I wish, I wish...I wish they would close fossil plants for every equivalent in turbines that's put up.
