There's nothing new there. All that was said last time a barrage was proposed so I'm surprised the government is even thinking of one. It's an EU protected area as well I think.

They'll have to go for turbines.

Why couldn't have they done it at the time of the last inquiry, instead of waiting for the results?

I doubt it will go ahead, it's 3-4 times more expensive than nuclear (official figures upon which decisions are made).
