The Oil Crash people seem to be wanting to make serious money from their film ... otherwise it would be everywhere by now.
Ho, humm ... there have been several good (and not so good) PO documentaries released now, without all this delay, so I hope Oil Crash is worth the wait. |

There was a Oil Crash screening in Bristol last week that I couldn't get to. My (peak oil smart) friend wasn't ecstatic about it... saying that it wasn't very clear about the issues from a newcomers perspective.
Crude Impact should be available on DVD within ~6 weeks or so. _________________ PowerSwitch on Facebook | The Oil Drum | Twitter | Blog |

Yeh, that would suit me, I might be closer to 3.30pm though. |

Adam (or anyone else who was at the movie) can you remember when you asked at the end how many people in the audience were new to PO, what the sort of numbers were new? Would you say it was about 8 out of maybe 150 people? I'm writing a review of the movie and thought that might be a relevent stat but am really bad at judging crowd numbers!
Also, if anyone remembers the depleted sites in Texas and Venezuela they mentioned that might be helpful too? I know it was Baku, Azerbaijan but couldn't remember the others.
Thanks!
Jane. |
