Radioactive Waste - How should it be managed?
Welcome

The Committee on Radioactive Waste Management (CoRWM) has commissioned Dialogue by Design to produce a Discussion Guide to enable people to find out about radioactive waste management, discuss the issues and feedback their opinions to CoRWM.

So far, 786 organisations have requested discussion guides.

Please click here to request a discussion guide.

We will send you packs in the post which include everything you need to have a discussion and includes a form for you to fill in with your responses. You can send this back to us at CoRWM Freepost SEA 12430, Thornton Heath CR7 7XT.

Or you can come back to this website and fill in the online results form.

The deadline for receiving comments is 31st December 2005. All results and a report of the findings will be available on this website early in 2006.

You can read the information sheets and download teachers' notes by clicking 'information' below

You know how the Sellafield visitor centre shows you those black glass disks, and tells you that's the volume of hgh-level waste your electricity use produces in a lifetime:

Well, I thought they should make each visitor take one home and store it in a lead box in their cellar or end of the garden - personal responsibility for it! Twisted Evil
