Chris raised a very good point yesterday in that there is the possibility of sea level rises "engulfing" nuclear power sites. I know myself that Dungeness is very close to sea level.

Has anyone looked into this?

Mmmm...I havn't looked into it - but as sizewell A + B could be underwater if the sea rose about 5 meters.........

Cooling water will become cheaper since there is less hight to be mastered by pumps . And getting rid of of the waste could be covered up as " lost to the sea , washed away " ....

5 meters?
