Cameron's Coup: How the Tories took Britain to the Brink by Polly Toynbee and David Walker

Polly Toynbee and David Walker's Cameron's Coup is an unashamedly caustic review of the last five years.

As usual, Polly doesn't hang back.

All you ever wanted to know about snake oil. Very Happy

The word 'coup' doesn't cut it. It's a weak word, though obviously chosen with care. "The Shock Doctrine" has already been used Wink but obviously this coup took place within that opportunity gap.

I love the tagline at the top.

Laughing I wouldn't throw the book, I'd insert it. Wink

Labour and the LibDems wouldn't be any different. They all dance to the tune set by their backers' lobbyists.

That's a given. If if walks and talks and resides in Westminster, it's operated by a banker or some corporate shill. Evil or Very Mad
