Are they likely to get more or less expensive in the light of the current crisis. I suspect more and I'm toying with getting another 400w for the boat and have the money now.
Thoughts?

Classic economics suggests that if there is a shortage of an item it's price will go up. As production in China and probably in other countries has stopped there is likely to be a price increase for a while at least in the future. I've not looked at the prices of current stock so you will have to check for yourself on that one.

A solar panel is an asset that will last twenty years. If you buy it at inflated prices because of the crisis you will still be ahead in the long run. If you can find it for no more then twice the old ($1.10/ watt)price I'd buy it and in fact will buy one this summer for the electric fencer protecting my garden and food plots.
