Who is interested in a meetup on the afternoon of Sat, 23rd September, with a viewing of 'Inconvenient Truth' beforehand at the cinema? _________________ www.PowerSwitch.org.uk

I think this is the point in which I get forum lynched.....
I can't make it as I'm going for a long weekend in the French Alps.
The people I am going with did however agree to being "educated" for a period of time whilst travelling there and back.
Ok, it's not a good enough excuse, I'll wear a potato sack for the rest of the year. _________________ "You can't be stationary on a moving train" - Howard Zinn |

I don't see the problem. You are cycling, aren't you? |

I've actually changed my stance and believe that the sooner we reach peak the better, both for society directly and indirectly through the environment. I am therefore helping get us there sooner... _________________ "You can't be stationary on a moving train" - Howard Zinn |

It could be argued that since we as a society aren?t working proactively to mitigate the problems posed by peak oil a delay only makes the situation worse. If we were currently on the crash programme, then conservation would be key to buy us some valuable time. _________________ PowerSwitch on Facebook | The Oil Drum | Twitter | Blog |

I'm aiming to attend but we'll need times and a venue. _________________ Frank |
