This is just a quick post to remind everyone about this conference on the 11th October in London and more importantly see if we can arrange a meal either the evening before or the evening of the 11th.

We did a similar thing the evening before the Edinburgh conference in April which was well attended by around 16 people and was a great way to catch up before the main attraction. I?m really looking forward to this event having already heard Meacher, Skrebowski and Douthwaite speak excellently at other conferences this year. Of particular note was Meacher at the Sustainable World conference where he said global oil was peaking now, adding that it was impossible to over estimate how important this was and that we could see $100 oil within a year.

So what do people think? A meal on the 10th or 11th (or both!).

I'll be there no question!

Who else is coming to the conference?

I've sent off my cheque so as long as i'm not too late I'll be there. I'm up for a meal on the 10th or 11th. If anyone is coming from out of London and needs a place to crash then I've got a spare bed.

I've sent in my check too. (Note American spelling!) A meal on either night sounds good.

I'd prefer a meal afterwards over a discussion of the day's insights. OK, I'm being selfish as I'd have to come up the night before otherwise Wink
