Andy - yeah I recognise some of the nights you mention. Laughing

I don't keep up to date with Tangled at the mo, but I believe they are at The Music Box & The Attic, bi-monthly. Did you ever go on the website? I used to frequent the message board - in fact it's still my home page! Look at future dates here:

I'd quite like to go sometime to say hi to everyone. (And have a bit of a blow out... Shocked )

Haggis - don't worry, we won't be dragging you along to any 'orrible dance club. Wink

Drinks would be fine, I'm not into any dance music tho...
If there isn't guitars and screaming, It's just not music.

The kind of dance music I make has all these things . . . Laughing

Maybe Rockworld would be more your cuppa? Wink

Seriously: drinks would be good. Clubbing would also be good, for those with clubs.

There's a night on in the Music Box on Saturday called The Techno Experiment, which a couple of my mates are going to. Promises to be loud, and hard, and tribal.

Mad times indeed. Shocked It was good for a while, but I couldn't have kept it up for ever.

I made some great friends who I'm still close to, and met my OH in Tangled, so it wasn't all shallow clubbing mates. I never felt there were too many scallies, I knew loads of the regulars & used to have a great time. Very Happy

Greetings all, just stumbled across this forum, although have been a regular visitor to PowerSwitch for some time, not really into forums normally. Anyway, noticed you are arranging a Manchester meet on the 20th, I'm going to a matinee theatre show then and would be interested in meeting with you all afterward if possible. I also prefer loud guitars and screaming, if that's any help? Shocked

Going to theatre for 3, so should be out by 5, at the library St. Peters Square, so should be able to walk to chosen venue pretty quick. So anytime after 5 for me, or before 3!

Hello Wedg1e! Very Happy

Feeling excited already - it better be good!

Seriously though, lets decide on a time & venue. I could do 5pm but later (7.30pm??) is better due to child care & travelling over from Preston. And also I get drunk quick so may not last the night if I start too early. Shocked

Any ideas for a good venue?

And should we be asking other Northerners like Aurora (Cheshire), bigjim (Liverpool) and Joe (Leeds)?
