Last week I gave a very enjoyable talk down in Lewes, sharing a platform with Aubrey Meyer, the creator of the international Contraction and Convergence framework.

There is now a write-up of the event available on the Transition Town Lewes wiki here.

Also, since it's somewhat short notice, I thought I'd post here about an event this Monday, 22nd October 2007, which has been posted on our Outreach page.

The Energy Watch Group (prob best known for their work on Peak Coal and Peak Uranium) will be officially launching their new global oil resources survey at an event hosted by the London Foreign Press Association, 11am-2pm.

Dr. David Fleming, the energy economist who invented the TEQs scheme will also be speaking there.

Interested parties are welcome to attend (11 Carlton House Terrace, London, SW1Y 5AJ).

Shaun
