I've never been to a Green Drinks meeting yet, but am hoping to go along to the next Manchester one at 6pm on Tues 4th November. Anyone else fancy coming along?
More details here:

Great. Maybe you could explore the possibility of doing a PO talk at one of the future meets? _________________ Set The Fire To The Third Bar

Looks good to me, but I don't think we'll be back in time for these ones - does anyone know how often they happen? |

Me and my big mouth - I joined the mailing list, and two emails later I'm penciled in to speak at the March/April drinks - better get on with our house sale so we're back in time! |

Surely you'll be an old hand at them by the time I'm there - you can tell me what a tough crowd they are. |

Went along to the (last ?) one in May. At a guess there were about 25-30 people there – mostly a younger (young professional) crowd.
Think this was a 're-birth' of a previous group - there were no talks, just drinks & nibbles at a trendy bar/restaurant (ning).
Enjoyable enough, but the organiser (Emma) was keen to hold events more regularly (~ every 6 weeks) and put on 2/3 speakers to give it more of an ‘eco’ focus.
Obviously starting to come together - will see if I can get down to this one. |

They've updated the Manchester greendrinks website to say the venue is Walrus, 78-88 High Street, The Northern Quarter. _________________ Set The Fire To The Third Bar
