PowerSwitch ran a competition in early 2005 with the title 'We Burned So Bright', judged by famous sci-fi novelist Stephen Baxter. The arts are a good way of stimulating people's minds. We have included some of the entries here for your enjoyment. Although the competition is over we will gladly accept any stories on the topic of oil depletion and the consequences.
